*I felt like I didn’t give Chicago enough credit in my original post so I added more to it! Enjoy :)
Chicago was AMAZE!
the architecture, the history, the FOOD, the WEATHER. oh my word.
We were only there for a weekend but felt like we did SO much!!
Here’s the rundown!
started the trip right with a bloody mary on the plane! Yum!
went to H&M – of course!
acted like a total tourist and took pictures of taxis :)
ate at Big Al’s Italian beef.
so. freaking. good.
stopped to watch street performers!
took a boat tour through the city and learned all about its history!
fell in love with the architecture!
went to see the bean!
went up 105 stories to really SEE chicago!
acted like a total goober tourist some more
Waited 2 hours for deep dish pizza. yep.
totally worth it. although, I stuffed my face so much I never want to touch pizza again
had brunch on the most beautiful street
walked to the beach.
hung out on the pier.
rode the Ferris wheel
acted like a tourist some more!
and finally, stopped to pose with some friends…
one of my favorite parts was the fact that you can walk anywhere! anywhere we wanted to go… we walked! *thanks to our handy dandy Iphone, holy hell what in the world did we do before those things!? It was such a great feeling, I wish I lived in a city where I could walk more!
Chicago will always be one of my favorites cities. It was the first city where Brad and I flew away together. the city we spent our 2 year anniversary together. The city where we bonded, walked the streets hand in hand, laughed, and experienced new things!
We sure left our mark on Chicago!

I'm headed that way in only a matter of days!!! 4 days in Chicago then off to Ohio. I haven't been home to IL in 2 yrs so it will be nice to see the city!
ReplyDeleteAww I love Chicago! My hubby and I were just there for a night on the way to Colorado, and I wish we would have had an extra day to hang out...we did have time for deep dish pizza though! Cute photo collage btw!
